The photo frame that answers your video calls

Vitaimo turns an inexpensive Android tablet into a digital photo frame for a loved one. When you call, the tablet picks up by itself — nobody has to touch a thing.

For families who live far apart.

A tablet photo frame with a family photo, answering a video call 10:30

How it works

  1. A tablet for a loved one. Install Vitaimo on an inexpensive Android tablet and leave it on its charger somewhere easy to see. It shows family photos, a large clock and the faces of the people who call.
  2. Set up in minutes. The tablet shows a QR code. Scan it with the Vitaimo app on your phone, then invite the rest of the family with a link.
  3. Calls without a tap. When you call, the tablet rings, shows your photo and name, and connects after 5 seconds. They can call you from the tablet too — by touching your photo.

What you'll need: an Android tablet (Android 7 or later) and Wi-Fi where it will be, plus Android phones for the people who call. Calling from an iPhone will come later.

Why not WhatsApp or an Echo Show

Price

The photo frame is free, forever.

Calls are free for 14 days, no card needed. After that, $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year — a third cheaper.

One subscription per tablet covers the whole family: one person pays, everyone calls. Google Play shows the price in your currency.

Captions with translation. Large captions right in the call for those who are hard of hearing. And if your family speaks different languages, the tablet will translate.
